Father’s Day

Last night my family and I went out for dinner to celebrate Father’s Day. It was a sumptuous dinner along Bukit Timah Road and I gave my family a treat :) What really warmed my heart was when my Dad said thank you to me in Cantonese after that. Now I can’t remember when was the last time I heard it, normally it’s just an acknowledgment but last night it was the words thank you. That really meant a lot to me. Thank you Lord, I pray that my relationship with my parents will get better and better as time goes by.

  1. Hey James,

I think you are a very giving person, haha I am not saying this so that I get another treat, but that’s really what I thought… Keep going, whatever u do, do it unto the Lord for it is also written: what you have done for the least of your brothers, you have done it for Him. The generous man prospers! God bless u brother, and I am sure He would make everything turn out better than expected:)

  2. Thanks Rachel, the most blessed blessing I receive is His love and presence surrounding me. Nothing else matters. I am thankful to God that through this period of time I can feel Him by my side, working alongside with me on my spiritual disciplines.

Hope you are going strong for the Lord as well! He’s good, all the time and he turns mistakes and failures around for good :)
