Evildoers will not last
5 more days to school reopening. Still quite a load of work left to do before school reopens. Lord I aim to score well for my modules this semester. To learn how to balance really well in studies, family, ministry, and business. I am gonna need your help to continue to grow in this aspect.
This morning I was reading Psalms 1:1-3.
1 Blessed is the man
who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked
or stand in the way of sinners
or sit in the seat of mockers.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers.
4 Not so the wicked!
They are like chaff
that the wind blows away.
Thank you for showing me this passage today. The past few days I have been pretty upset with how some people whom I dealt with online had no integrity in their dealings and I was affected by some evil deeds that were done towards me on my online business. This passage not only taught me that evildoers will never last long before they perish but it also shed light that even when we soak ourselves in the word of God, there will be times when it seems we are stagnating and not growing at all. And there your verse reveals that a tree that is planted by streams of water produces its fruit in its season.
In Christian living, there are seasons of dryness and growth spurt. As we keep soaking ourselves in your Word and abiding in it, no matter how we feel or think the fact remain that our leaves will not wither and fruits will show after each pruning season. Thank you Lord for the long pruning season I just went through. Things are getting a lot better and happier now ![]()
